Fellowship

Join Us for Meaningful Fellowship

Age-Level Ministries

Edenton United Methodist Church offers fellowship opportunities for people of all ages, including those serving children,  adults, and groups of diverse ages.

Children

Nursery

We offer nursery services during all services, including Sunday School, because we want parents to feel free to worship, knowing their children are safe and happy, learning about Jesus through art, story, and song.

Sunday School

In addition to the nursery, we offer Children's Sunday School at 10 a.m. each Sunday.

Adult

Each Sunday at 10 a.m., adults gather for Bible study and prayer for 45 minutes between worship services. Contact us for more information.

Small Groups

Small Groups gather 6-8 people to learn to be better disciples. We try to understand what God is saying to us through scripture and prayer and how we will put that into action in our church, community, and the larger world.

United Women in Faith

United Women in Faith join in prayer and fellowship to support the faith and well-being of women and children locally, nationally, and globally. Membership is open to women of all ages who desire Christian fellowship and spiritual growth. We look forward to seeing you!

United Methodist Men

United Methodist Men join monthly for prayer and fellowship and organize church and community service. This includes fundraising, prison ministry, and participation in community events. Join us for breakfast in the Fellowship Hall on the 3rd Sunday of the month at 8:00 a.m. Come and get involved!

Racial Reconciliation

The Racial Reconciliation Group of Edenton is a nondenominational group working together to overcome prejudice through heartfelt conversation and opportunities for supporting a community that works together. Join us as we gather every Thursday night from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. in the Edenton United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

The EUMC Prayer Shawl Ministry combines the love of needlework and the love to reach out to others in need of comfort and solace. Blessings are knitted into every shawl as the shawl is started with prayer for the recipient and each shawl is given a final blessing before it is given to someone for whom it will become a meaningful blessing of love. A shawl may be given to a person during an illness and recovery, or as a comfort after a personal loss as a way to minister to them. The ladies of the EUMC Prayer Shawl ministry meet in the church library every Tuesday morning at 11:00am. If you love to knit, pray, and fellowship come be a part of the Prayer Shawl Team!
